power rankings
#1) Honey BBQ Badgers (5-3)
Post-draft ranking - #2
Travis' position atop the power rankings is tenuous at best, he has shown a remarkable lack of consistency, losing in Week 7 to James who didn't even bother to start two players! Debbie I hope you let him know how ashamed you were of your boy! Despite being atop the league in points scored his starting roster only ranks #4 ROS. Two FA acquisitions in the last week have hurt him greatly. TB grabbing AB and his demons hurts Mike Evans value, and his Chiefs let him down by picking up Le'Veon Bell to vulture carries away from CEH. He doesn't have a great pivot option either as his bench lacks depth. Losing Kittle, the clean spot on the poopie diaper that is the TE landscape, is brutal. Travis is a King on a wet toilet paper throne.

#2) Duncan Doornuts (6-2)
Post-draft ranking - #4
Despite losing her #1 pick Ellie is atop the league! That is a feat that should be applauded. Now a reality check. She has only had 762.98 points scored against. The difference between her and 2nd place is like a whole extra week where you play Donn. If she played an average scoring team each week her expected wins drop from 6 to 3! Her opponents seem to offer her wins each week, like when Debbie graciously asked Lamar Jackson to kneel to put Ellie over the top. I swear the NFL is out to be nice to the pregnant lady or something. I have never seen luck this extreme, and it will not last.

#3) Theilen's Mistress (4 - 4)
Post-draft ranking - #3
Out of all the teams in the top half of our rankings, Sarah's position might be the most fragile. She has been greatly aided by the wonderful pickup of Mike Davis, but with CMC coming back next week she is left wondering how she is going to fill that Chubb sized hole. She is hurting at RB with losses of Chubb, Mack, and Ingram (RIP).

#4) Gary Anderson's Right Foot (2-6)
Post-draft ranking - #1
This may seem like a biased pick, and I can't argue with you. But where GARF misses out in wins, he makes up for in ROS talent. By ECR GARF has by far the best starting roster in the league. With 4 of the top 15 projected RBs and WRs, he is going to be hard to beat down the stretch, and with the majority of the league sitting around 500 it will be easy for him to sneak into the playoffs and win it all. Many players riding the bench for GARF would be #1's on other rosters, which puts him in fantastic shape to play matchups and deal with injuries.

#5) Cougartown (3-5)
Post-draft ranking - #8
I will admit her drafting strategy, while unconventional, does lend itself to an 8 team league. Picking studs at positions where there is a huge skills gap early has definitely both helped (Kelce) and hurt (Jackson). Where I think her saving grace is in being able to pick up waiver wire talent and have them produce having difference making production from Devonte Freeman and Jamal Williams in back to back weeks.

#6) The Wayward Crawlers (4 - 4)
Post-draft ranking - #7
James is definitely out-performing expectations! Buoyed by big performances from J.Mixon, T.Lockett, P.Mahomes, and the Chiefs D/ST he has been able to scrape together a lot of great weeks! That being said his starting roster is shaky at best now, with 3 backup RBs and only 1 bona-fide starter at RB on his roster.

#7) The Cody Parkey's (4-4)
Post-draft ranking - #6
Ravaged by injuries, and lacking the depth to make up for it really hurts Larry. He is lucky to be at 500 right now. Starting guys like D.Swift, and D.Henderson is never a good sign in an 8 team league. He has made shrewd moves in the waiver process, and with CMC returning he could very well end the season in the upper echelon of teams.

#8) The Butt Fumbles
Post-draft ranking - #5
Donn is definitely struggling, his top-end talent like Chris Carson have had injuries and his WR corps are in rough shape, especially with the QB woes in Dallas. Marquis Brown has been a huge disappointment since Lamar Jackson has forgotten how to throw footballs. Deshawn Watson has been a pleasant surprise with the departure of D.Hopkins though. Its just hard to see Donn pulling it together enough to get into the post-season.
